Coffee Tartufini are delicious sweets that are prepared in no time, without cooking. Very easy to make, they are ideal for making children dirty their hands and spending a pleasant and tasty afternoon with the family.

The typical tiramisu flavor of these soft balls will be appreciated by all, coffee lovers and not.

Necessary tools:

  • blender / mixer
  • bowl
  • spatula
  • tray lined with parchment paper

Ingredients for the dough (dose for 30 tartufini):

  • 160 g of biscuits
  • 250 g of mascarpone
  • 80 g of unsweetened coffee at room temperature
  • 60 g of icing sugar

Ingredients for garnish (your choice):

  • powdered cocoa
  • chopped pistachio / hazelnut
  • colored sugar tails

Preparation of coffee tartufini: prepare the coffee and let it cool to room temperature. Meanwhile blend the ladyfingers finely. In a bowl, add the cold coffee and icing sugar to the mascarpone. Mix well with the spatula in order to remove any lumps and obtain a homogeneous consistency. Then add the sponge biscuits already powdered and mix  everything. When the dough is firmly compacted, take a teaspoon and shape it with your hands until it forms a ball. Each tartufino must weigh about 15 grams.

Decoration: pass each ball in the bitter cocoa or grains or in the decoration of your choice and gradually position the coffee tartufini on the tray that you have already lined with parchment paper. If you want to consume them immediately, let them firmly firm in the freezer for 30 minutes; otherwise keep them in the fridge for a couple of days, stored, for example, in paper cups for food.

To further entertain your children, you can stick each ball on a small lollipop stick.
