Actually throwing them in the garbage is a sin and a useless waste, considering among other things the enormous quantity of cups of coffee that are drunk every day all over the world! It is a real reserve of antioxidants: for this reason we recommend some simple tricks to reuse them for various purposes. For beauty, home or garden care.

Body treatments

Coffee powder grains are ideal for preparing an excellent body scrub at home. Just mix the bottoms with olive oil, until you get a simple mixture to massage on the skin.

Even facial skin can be pampered with an effective coffee scrub. Just mix 2 teaspoons of coffee grounds with 2 tablespoons of cocoa, 2 of milk or yogurt (also in the vegetable variant) and 1 tablespoon of honey or malt. Apply to damp skin, gently massage and leave for twenty minutes before rinsing.

If, on the other hand, cane sugar and a few drops of coconut oil are added to the coffee grounds, a natural product is obtained, perfect for use as an anti-cellulite treatment. It is massaged with circular movements on the interested parts and the game is done.

Another interesting application is that concerning the hair: to revive the color of hair with dark reflections, it is enough to add, during the preparation of the usual henna, a small amount of coffee grounds. Or use the advanced, diluted coffee directly during the second last hair rinse.

Even the feet can find a pleasant refreshment thanks to the coffee! Just dilute a little in warm water to get a restorative foot bath, which is also ideal for curbing sweating and bad smells. Furthermore, with coffee grounds, targeted massages can be carried out to soften the roughest and thickest areas of the skin of the feet.

And for the hands? Still coffee helps to eliminate bad smells from garlic, onions and various spices while cooking. Just rub the coffee grounds on your fingers and palms and then rinse with warm water.

Coffee grounds in the care of the home

Their reuse is an expedient not to be underestimated even in the care of the home.

Did you know, for example, that you can use them to keep ants away? You can finally say goodbye to traditional toxic-based remedies! With simple coffee grounds placed in the most affected areas you will have solved the problem.

And for persistent dirt deposits? Sponge, coffee grounds, some water or liquid soap. Just rub a little and the dirt is easily removed.

And again: use the dry coffee grounds placed in a small bowl and put it in the fridge for a couple of days. It will act as an excellent natural deodorant, absorbing bad odors and moisture. The same remedy can be used in other smelly parts of the house, such as a cellar or a shoe rack.

With coffee grounds and warm water you can even prepare a creamy paste that is useful for covering scratches on dark wood furniture.

Coffee grounds in garden care

It is now known that coffee grounds are excellent for use as natural fertilizers. The presence of precious minerals such as calcium, potassium, phosphorus, copper and magnesium make them perfect for enriching the domestic composting box.
