Chicken with coffee is a second course of meat with an original taste. Coffee, used for marinating meat, gives the chicken the extra edge it normally does not have.

Necessary utensils:

  • bowl for marinating chicken
  • pan

Ingredients (dose for 4 people):

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • one cup of coffee
  • one celery stick
  • a carrot
  • a leek
  • flour qb
  • pink peppercorns to taste (or curry)
  • olive oil to taste

Preparation of the chicken with coffee: once the coffee has been prepared and left to cool, sprinkle with it the chicken breasts placed in a bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the fridge for 12 hours.

After the time necessary for marinating, coat the chicken breasts with the flour. Meanwhile, chop the vegetables finely and add pink peppercorns or curry, depending on your taste.

Heat a drizzle of olive oil in a pan, add the vegetable mix and let it brown. Then add the chicken breasts, blend with the remaining coffee on the bottom of the bowl, cover with the lid and cook for about 10 minutes.
